Review: Ted Lasso on Apple TV

During Christmas, we binge-watched Ted Lasso, an Apple TV offering.

Ted Lasso is an American sitcom TV series developed by Bill Lawrence and Jason Sudekis (who stars as Ted), Joe Kelly, and Brenda Hunt.

The series is based on a character of the same name that Sudeikis first portrayed in a series of promotions for NBC.

The Apple TV series premiered with the first 3 episodes on August 14, 2020. Five days later, the series renewed for a second season consisting of ten episodes. Then in October 2020, the series was renewed for a third season.

After watching the series, spellbound by the characters and the feel-good optimism that underscores every episode.

I can't remember the last time I found a series that had everything—likable characters, good stories, great theme, great acting, etc. The subtle characterization of Lasso, the character growth many characters undergo—I could rave on about this series, but I hope you'll find a way to watch it yourself.

We watched at our daughter's home. She had signed up for a subscription to Apple TV+.
