Keep Hope Alive

It's been a rough week for family. My sister-in-law has been in the hospital this past week and had emergency surgery today. She's in recovery and doing well.

I still have my rosary of olive wood from Assisi wrapped around my wrist. Even though I'm not Catholic, it helps me focus my prayers and visualize my hopes for her and family.

Anxiety dims the day and squeezes the heart. Prayer and hope gets me through the tough times--and there have been many in life. No one gets through life without pain.

Desmond Tutu said, "Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness."

Takeaway Truth

Hang onto hope and refuse to let negative thoughts into your mind or your heart.
