Editorial Policy

EDITORIAL POLICY

SlingWords.blogspot.com is my personal blog about books, life, love, romance, pop culture, and writing. My interests can be seen on the right sidebar under Something To Talk About. This blog is conceived, written, and edited by me.

For questions about the editorial content, please use the Contact Page to get in touch with me.

In addition to being a published author of book-length fiction, I am also a freelance writer. At times I may use my talent and skills to write for clients so some posts may represent advertising copy for which I receive remuneration. However, I do not attach my name and talent to any product or service which I myself would not use.

As the owner of this blog and as a working freelance writer, I may provide my opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics, but I always give my honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences. This blog does not contain content which might present a conflict of interest for me.

As the publisher of SlingWords, I accept selected advertisements based on the editorial content of this blog, and the interests of its readers.

I am an Amazon Associate and as such, I earn a commission from qualifying purchases. I am also an Affiliate Marketer, a participant in selected affiliate advertising programs designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees.

To learn about advertising that I accept on this blog, please refer to the Advertising Policy page.

As Publisher of SlingWords, I reserve the right to refuse any advertisement. Any advertisement that includes, but is not limited to, defamatory content, adult content, adult language, information pertaining to legal or illegal drug use, or denigrating to any group of people based on religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation will NOT be accepted.

The views and opinions expressed on this blog are my own and no one else's. No warranties, express or implied, are given. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.
