Robert Kirby said: "No matter how carefully you stored the lights last year, they will be snarled again this Christmas."Why is that true? I have no idea, but that's the way it is in my household.
We have an ancient stereo in the garage. We put in an old cassette tape of funny, whacked-out holiday songs. Then we climb into the attic and start removing what seems like 5 tons of Christmas decorations.
The funny songs keep frustration at bay as we fight with miles of tangled strings of lights. (I'm convinced they reproduce while stored in the dark attic between Christmases.)
