The 2016 Emma Merritt Writing Contest, sponsored by the San Antonio Romance Authors, also known as SARA, is now accepting entries.
I remember when I met Emma Merritt many years ago. She was well-known in romance circles and often spoke at workshops and conferences. She was often funny and seemed to never meet a stranger. I love the fact that this contest is named in honor of her.
