In Remembrance on Patriot Day

Where were you on the day we all remember?

I was upstairs vacuuming the den when Darling Hubby called and told me to turn on the TV.

I did—just in time to see the second plane crash into the other tower.

We—no, not just we Americans—have endured much since that day. Respect the sacrifices and bravery of first responders who run toward disasters to save others.

Respect soldiers who are sent into the fray and give them the appreciation they deserve.

Takeaway Truth

Remember how on that horrific day, we drew together as Americans, not as rich or poor; black, brown, or white; Catholic, Protestant, Buddhist, Muslim, or atheists. Always remember, there is more that unites us than separates us.
