Don't be fooled by the description which makes this story seem like an oft-told tale. It's not. By the time you reach the end of the movie, the true horror is revealed.

Tom Bateman as Adele's husband is the long-suffering good doctor trapped in his marriage, and Robert Aramayo is so good as Rob that his actions stay with you even though his screen time is relatively short.
The story was adapted from BEHIND HER EYES by Sarah Pinborough.
