If there's a special teacher who impacted your life for the better, send a note of thanks if you know where they are today.
Teachers educate, and in many cases, do far more than that to shape a person's ability to think and reason as well as learn the subject matter.
In many cases, teachers inspire students to be achievers, to create fulfilling lives, to strive to be good people as well as good citizens.
At least, that's the way it was when I went to school. I had wonderful teachers—as well as parents and grandparents—who shaped me into the intelligent, thinking woman I am today.
My teachers have all passed on to that big Faculty Lounge in Heaven, but I'd like to name the really special ones who had such an impact on my life: Nina Eves, Mildred Richard, Mary Minta Moore, Daniel Ayoub, Mary Robinson, Espie Lee Powell, Coach Pickett, and Rebecca Guice.
Thank you for demanding the best from me even though I didn't know I had a "best" in me to give.
TAKEAWAY TRUTH
