I laugh at TV and movies where people on computers just turn them straight 'on' or 'off' and get a result.
ReplyDeleteDirectors know we all have them and know several steps are required, so why do they demand we suspend so much disbelief?

@BWCA, I'm always amazed at how inaccurately they incorporate computer usage in scenes.

The loss of life is tragic, and the loss of property will be devastating for those who survive and for their economy. No easy answers to this growing tragedy.
Books are a good escape from the cold, hard realities of life. Guess we'll all need to read a good book for some relief -- and donate for rescue efforts.
